What's a ZJ?
If you have to ask, you can't afford it.

I saw one of those for sale in my hometown when I was on r&r and bored while the people with real lives went to their jobs and stuff while I was on leave not giving a single eff. Unfortunately, my r&r was at one of the rear echelon bases and I had no more emails or facebook messages to reply to at the MWr.

Only in 93, and only the 6 cylinder Jeeps.
Total production numbers are in the 700 range.

1996 Dodge Caravan also avaliable with a manual transmission. Sadly it was discontinued after 1 year. Have yet to see one for sale though. I'd do a swap over the 31th made of glass :)

all of the first generation 4 cylinders could be had with a stick, including the turbo. I only know because an ex's dad had one and it was the weirdest thing ever for me to see in a Voyager

Looks like they swapped in the 96-98 steering wheel. Ones of that vintage had the same steering wheel as my mom's old Dynasty.

Yes, yes they did. Only a few, and they are very, very rare.
And I really, really, really want one.
In other Jeep news, just rolled 220,000 on my XJ this week coming back from PA :-)

nice! Love that thing. I want to get her into an XJ, but I think she likes the comfort of the grands. Probably going to be a stick for her, but I am finding myself more and more attracted to these myself. there are a few factory sticks for sale around, but not too many. Most are mud rigs by now

Oh yeah... manual transmissions in SUVs used to be common. The Chevy Suburban, Ford Explorer, Toyota 4Runner, Nissan Pathfinder and others from that era could also be had with a manual. And minivans like the Aerostar, the Chrysler vans, Mazda MPV and Toyota Previa could all be had with manuals too!
